MoreIn 2008, the Consensus Building Institute (CBI) researched models of professional exchange programs throughout the country and identified a range of interests and concerns around a Northern New England Chapter of the American Planning Association NNECAPA) planners exchange program. The goal of the research was to help NNECAPA to create an implementable short-term exchange program available to planning professionals in Northern New England. CBI used web-based research tools, phone interviews, and staff analysis to develop the findings and recommendations presented in this report.
