CAPE COD COMMISSION
Special Projects Coordinator

Works with staff and stakeholders to communicate complex information related to environmental, economic development, capital infrastructure planning, housing and other regional issues. Ability to visualize data, prepare public presentations and create graphic media. Supports public education through media outlets and by addressing local and regional officials and community groups. Ability to manage projects, plan, organize, analyze problems, formulate recommendations, and prepare reports. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of public and private groups including elected officials. Works directly with Executive Director in organizing internal and external communications.

Requires superior communication, organization, public presentation and graphics skills, and independent judgment and initiative. Bachelor’s degree in economics, communications, graphic design, public administration, regional planning, or related field plus three to five years of experience at the local, regional or state level; master’s degree preferred; combination of private and public sector experience desirable; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
